Is your load secure?

Are you 100% sure?

Let’s not give ourselves a bad ‘wrap.’

• Please inspect each load for stability before lifting.

• Don’t build loads that are too tall or unbalanced.

• Make sure the weight is within the lift’s rated capacity.

• Never raise or lower forks while equipment is moving; give yourself a safe center of gravity just above the floor before proceeding.

• Take great care when tilting the load; do so only to stabilize it, but do not tilt too far.

• Remember that a falling load can cause serious problems: It can injure you and pedestrians … it can create obstacles that cause oncoming equipment to crash or topple … and obviously it can result in major damage to products, which hurts customer service.

Please keep yourself on an even keel at all times.
