Safety in the Warehouse

That includes yourself, your load, your lift and everything - and everyone - around you. Some reminders:
Please be certain that each load is balanced on the forks and is shrink-wrapped or otherwise properly strapped or bundled.
Drive at a reasonable speed, honking at intersections and avoiding sudden starts and stops.
Keep forks low so that the lift has a stable center of gravity. Also, follow weight limits.
Make sure you can see exactly where you're going.
Keep limbs inside the lift at all times.
Watch out for rollover obstacles, such as stray pieces of wood, and follow housekeeping rules.
Be on the lookout for pedestrians and give yourself plenty of clearance around objects that pose collision hazards.
Never horse around or take risks.
Inspect each lift and take care of maintenance needs immediately.
