Protecting Freight

Freight damage can cost a fortune. It results in lots of wasted time involving returns, credits and mountains of paperwork - and hurts a company's reputation. Please use good sense and keep all freight ship-shape, without a scrape. Some tips:
Inspect your equipment.
Watch where you're going to avoid even minor collisions.
Follow housekeeping rules to eliminate obstacles.
Watch your speed when driving a lift and when cornering.
Keep each load balanced, at a safe center of gravity, with forks properly lined up. Load should be on a solid, tight pallet that's stored securely on shelves.
Make sure the weight is within the fork's limits.
If any damage occurs, please report it immediately so that we can recover as much as possible and send out only good product. Don't try to hide any damage.
