Hazardous Chemicals (S)

Sometimes the very thought of a hazardous chemical accident can leave you breathless.

And all too often, such accidents literally do take peoples breath away.

They can come in the form of explosions, leaks, fires and other types of exposures. They can happen at massive chemical plants or at a two-person facility. They can involve everything from dust to acid, cyanide and chlorine in 55-gallon drums, household-sized containers or unmarked containers.

And they can happen here.

Please never touch a chemical unless fully trained and authorized unless you have read the latest Material Safety Data Sheets fully unless you wear all proper personal protective equipment and unless you know every potential hazard to co-workers, visitors, our property and the community at large in terms of the usage, storage, handling and transportation of hazardous materials.
